NITECORE's First Flashlight MH12 Pro With UHi 40 LED Arrives
August 4th 2023
NITECORE today launched the MH12 Pro,
an ultra long-range flashlight with a max output of 3,300 lumens. It marks NITECORE’s
first flashlight equipped with the NiteLab UHi 40 LED—the newly developed LED
with round light emitting surface (LES), ultra high light intensity, and a max
power of 40W.
Compact yet powerful, the MH12 Pro
outperforms the medium-sized flashlights (40mm-head) not only in output but
also in beam distance. Thanks to the state-of-the-art UHi 40 LED, it can
deliver an impressive output of 3,300 lumens, and provides a max peak beam
intensity of 63,500cd and a max throw of 505 meters, ideal for emergency,
night search, outdoor activities, maintenance checks, and more. The round LES of
the UHi 40 LED is a perfect match for the round reflector, enabling high light
conversion efficiency and a bright and clear hotspot, which is conducive to
identifying targets at night quickly and accurately.
The body of the MH12 Pro is crafted with precision CNC machining and
features anti-slip knurling. With a 1mm-thick texture, users can maintain a
secure grip even with sweaty, wet hands, or when wearing gloves. Additionally,
at the front of the flashlight, there are 4 power indicators and 4 level
indicators, allowing for an intuitive check of the flashlight's status. The
U-shaped tail cap is available to prevent accidental activation and offers tail
stand capability, along with a hole for lanyard attachment.
The MH12 Pro includes a NITECORE NL2153HP 21700 Li-ion battery with
5,300mAh huge capacity and 20A continuous discharging current, powering the
light for a total of 650 hours on ULTRALOW Level. A USB-C charging port is available with a reversible plug-in for direct
charging.
The MH12 Pro also features sensor protection function. When the built-in optical sensor detects an obstruction ahead at close distance, the flashlight brightness will automatically decrease to avoid overheating. Daily Mode and Tactical Mode are available for different uses. In addition to a highly efficient constant current circuit (non-PWM), it is also IP68 rated (2m submersible) with 1-meter impact resistance.
